Germering, 05th of September 2024—Deployables Cubed GmbH, a pioneering company in deployable space structures, has officially rebranded as Dcubed GmbH. This name change represents a significant step in the company’s growth, simplifying and sharpening the brand while staying true to its core mission. Over the next few months, the company plans to continue elevating and evolving its brand identity.
Since its founding in 2019, Dcubed GmbH has expanded its focus beyond CubeSat deployable structures to include innovative solutions for larger satellites, spacecraft, and planetary landers. The original concept behind Deployables Cubed was to create deployable structures that are small for launch but large in space, standardizing them much like the CubeSat revolutionized satellite technology (-> deployables cubed). Today, Dcubed GmbH continues this legacy with scalable, cutting-edge, deployable solutions for the space industry.
Additionally, the company is excited to announce that Alexander Titz, one of the earliest members of the Dcubed team, has been appointed as the second Managing Director, joining the existing CEO and Managing Director, Dr. Thomas Sinn. With this new leadership structure, Dcubed GmbH is well-positioned to continue its upward trajectory and expand its impact on the space industry.
