DcubeD is in Space Again!!!

Our Nano Pin Pullers nD3PP are in space again with FOSSA Systems PocketPod deployer on SpaceX Transporter 5 mission. As the Falcon 9 rocket took off from the launch pad, DcubeD celebrated from the in-house Space Bar.

With SpaceX’s fifth dedicated small satellite rideshare mission launched from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida and carried 59 payloads from several customers to the sun-synchronous orbit. One of the payloads was the Vigoride orbital transfer vehicle by the company Momentus. The spacecraft designed for transportation and in-space infrastructure services will test and demonstrate the performance of its subsystems. The vehicle is carrying multiple customer payloads to be deployed during the mission, including the PocketPod deployers from FOSSA Systems. After the successful collaboration in Transporter 3 in January this year, FOSSA selected DcubeD Pin Pullers again for the deployment of their next set of IoT satellites. These picosatellites will join the constellation of 80 that the company started deploying this year.

DcubeD viewed the launch from the Space Bar, our in-house meeting point with great selection of beer and company. The pride and joy of the launch combined with pizza, drinks and networking made it an unforgettable evening. This was also DcubeD’s second launch party in less than 5 months, leaving us excited for the upcoming ones.

After the successful deployment of the Momentus Vigoride spacecraft, we are now getting ready for the deployment of the FOSSA Systems satellites in the upcoming days. Stay tuned!
