Our colleagues Thomas Lund and Antonio Pedivellano were in Würzburg at the 14th Pico and Nanosatellites Workshop, or PiNa for short. It being the first in person conference post-lockdown, DcubeD was thrilled to have a booth and give a presentation at PiNa.
The workshop, which is hold alternating in Würzburg and Berlin by Universität Würzburg and TU Berlin, allows an exchange between parties from science, industry and space community. Focusing not only on SmallSat missions but also in-orbit experiences and educational aspects in the field of SmallSat development, the event this year was full of exciting presentations ranging from subsystem technologies and payloads to the related training in universities and the regulatory aspects of operations.
It’s amazing to have in person conferences again and we are looking forward to the next event to connect with the space community.
